| Tail Feathers Waterfowl Guiding Service offers exclusive waterfowl guiding services on the Blood Indian Reserve. Located in south western Alberta, Canada, and close to the U.S. border, the Blood Indian Reserve is the largest Indian reserve in Canada. With three rivers, the Belly, the Oldman and the St. Marys, two large irrigation reservoirs, numerous ponds and lakes and large grain farms, the Reserve is a major staging area for waterfowl during the Fall. It is not unusual for this area to hold between 20,000 to 30,000 geese and ducks. Guided hunters can expect memorable hunting experiences. Hunts are generally scheduled from the season opening dates in September through October. Bird cleaning and packaging services are available to clients at a nominal cost.
